French director, Thomas Vanz, captures what is minute to show what is vast. In 2015, this astrophysics fan started making films using chemical reactions reworked in post-production. It was a revelation: ink, water, and pigments came together according to the laws of fluid mechanics, unveiling the history of space and the unknown.

His first short film, "Nova", a macroscopic focus on the life of a supernova, at the crossroads of art and science, was a great success and was crowned with the first prize at the Quantum Festival. It was closely followed by "Intra", which told the story of a fall into a black hole, and other short films on the beauty of the solar system, continually pushing back the boundaries of his exploration of nature's motifs of all sizes.

His talent opened many gateways, comprising the fields of music, luxury, and art. This led to him directing the video clip "Bright Side" for the composer Darius, conceiving the visual design of Dior's 2020 menswear fashion show, and in 2019, creating for the Atelier des Lumières, a unique 270-degree video, "Verse", that was shown for a year to thousands of visitors.

Continuing his scale-format dialogue, Thomas Vanz would like to use his Virtual Reality work for a total immersion cosmic experience.
