Nicolas Valois

Nicolas Valois' imagination has always been fuelled by a desire to tell stories. A photographer's son, he trained at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts and Ecole Louis Lumière before later turning to the same, enriched by this background that gave him a unique approach. During his experience, he had also been a part of the adventure at Studio Zéro that he managed for seven years.

One of the strengths of this "photographer of sweetness" lies in the concise dexterity he sets in motion between his initial fascination for performance and the precision of his aesthetic design. A stretch of sand, the sea, concrete... First of all, Nicolas sees lines within which he creates a composition with his models as others do with paintbrushes.

It is because, first and foremost, he is driven by his own demanding nature that the driving force behind his creativity never stops working. Because his work is meticulous, it gives off a poetic harmony that is so typical of what he does, and that is shared by great names such as ELLE, HARPER’s BAZAAR, Nuxe, Dessange, Paco Rabanne, ELlie Saab, Lancôme, Lacoste, L’Oréal, Kerastase, Biotherm, Le Printemps and Shiseido.

A ritual without which you can't function? Very seriously announce to a model that I was a supermodel in the 1980s, that I'm going to help her shine throughout the day… and see the visage cautious look on her face.
