Cédric Coldefy

Cédric Coldefy

Cédric Coldefy is a Paris-based director of advertising films, digital content and fashion films that draw their influences from the world of cinema. After starting his career in television, it was whilst filming the singular ballet that goes on behind the scenes at fashion shows that he got himself noticed and turned his camera to serve the world of beauty.

Years of experience as a producer and creative producer taught him to master the technical constraints of his field and how to free himself of them once and for all. Today, his work shows his particular capacity to reveal emotion wherever it is to be found.

With his continually renewed demanding formal inventiveness, Cédric’s videos bring out the diversity of his visual landscape, enhanced by the place he gives to spontaneity, flexibility and his collaboration with his models on set.

Among his clients are great names such as L'Oréal Paris, Veuve Clicquot, Lacoste, Lexus, Emporio Armani, Balmain and Balenciaga.

A catchword? "Ubuntu." It’s a South African expression I learned recently which could be translated by ”I am what I am thanks to what we all are”.
